Rooikoppies Dam aka Roodekopjes Dam in the Krokodil River, Northwest Province of South Africa has a capacity of 102.3 million cubic metres. It lies about 30km northwest of Brits near Beestekraal and is fed by the crocodile river from Hartbeespoort dam and the Sterkstroom river from Buffelspoort dam. The dam is known for good catches of carp, barbel, kurper and yellow fish.

Take the R511 from Brits to Thabazimbi for about 24km, then turn off left onto a gravel road at the Kameeldrift sign. Turn right at the T-junction further on. Follow this road for about 6km to the dam. Rooikoppies dam is approximately 70km northwest of Pretoria.
