John Thorn established Roma Trading Post in 1903 and lived here until his death in 1957. Today, the 4th generation of Thorns grow up here at the foot of the Maloti Mountains. Donkeys, cattle, pigs and chickens roam freely, blanket clad horsemen still come to shop at the Trading Post. Trekking on horseback or attempting off-road trails, any adventure seeker can come relax here.
