“The Ngwavuma River is a tributary of the Pongolo which it joins about 6 km south-east of Ndumo in Swaziland. The Zulu name is said to refer to the Bushveld Saffron, a type of tree of which the bark has medicinal properties.” - Chris Smit, 2024/09/24
