The King Sobhuza II Memorial Park is located close by to the parliament, it was established to tribute King Sobhuza II he led Swaziland to independence from British rule in 1968. The main highlight of the memorial is the 3m tall bronze statue of the respected king. Also at the memorial park is a small museum with various pictures and documents about his life. Also in the park is the king's mausoleum.
