Swaziland National Museum, situated in Lobamba, was founded in 1972. The museum is run by the Swaziland National Trust Commission. It features a photography section, Ethnography Section, artifacts, traditional clothing, implements and other natural, as well as man-made objects which reflect both the diverse natural and cultural heritage of the Swazi Kingdom. There is also a showroom which houses three of the royal cars once used by King Sobhuza II. King Sobhuza II led Swaziland to independence in 1968. Swaziland National Museum is dedicated to him.
