Situated on the northern slopes of Pietermaritzburg, the small nature reserve serves as the headquarters of KZN Wildlife. The park has a environmentally friendly bird garden and a trail called the iDube trail, it is a circular self-guided walk. The park has a small resource centre and regular environmental education workshops. There is also picnic areas in the park. (Updated Oct-2015)
