“Not what it used to be... the campsite was without water for an entire day and then the staff let the generator run for 12 hours. The ablutions are slowing deteriorating and not clean. We stayed here late December and there were only 2 other campsites booked. Seems like word is spreading that the fees are too high for what one is getting. The park itself never disappoints with wildlife. Next time we will stay outside in one of the community camps. lesson learnt!” - Mitzi Knipe, 2025/01/30

“It is very difficult to book this campsite, but you can do it at Kwalate office in Maun and pay there as well. Only cash accepted. There is no water in the mornings as the solar pump does not work once the sun has set. Please remove all rubbish and close all ablution doors and windows to keep baboons out.” - Mietsie Visser, 2023/10/26

“The long awaited development of the ablution facilities is at last under way. The sites are laid out under trees and there is usually a table and bench. The lack of game in the area is a drawback but we have seen elephants and on one memorable occasion a pack of wild dogs came to drink at a ground level bird table” - David Clack, 2009/02/01
