There are no lodges or hotels in the park, just the 3 unfenced camps. South camp near the entrance gate consists of 10 sites within a tree covered area. The campsites have their own fire pit, braai stand and newly built ablution facilities. Elephants frequently wander around the toilet block looking for water. The sites must be pre-booked. Nxai pan can cater for 6 pax and 3 vehicles.
The water is clean and there is a small tuck shop at reception. One can also buy wood from reception.
Reservations must be made in advance through the Xomae Group. Once they have received your Camping payment, they will issue a voucher which you need for the payment of Park Entry fees and vehicle fees at the Department of Wildlife's at central pay points. For more information on pay points contact the DWNP.

“Ablutions are well maintained and cleaned daily. The water is clean and there is a small tuckshop at reception. One can also buy wood from reception. There is only one waterhole in the park, which is very popular with photographers. In May to June the annual zebra migration to Khumaga and ajacent pans along the Boteti River takes place. The herds return with the first summer rains.” - Mietsie Visser, 2021/08/11
“The sites are situated in a shady glade and there is a small toilet/shower for each sex. If the water tanks are filled they may be working but do not rely on it.” - David Clack, 2009/01/31
