Hiking within Kumbagana have three routes to follow. There is a 4km route where the hikers embark on the top part of the Hamerkop kloof. The second route is 6km: This is recommended for the most experienced hikers and hikers will take a ladder down to Hamerkop kloof, passing through a steep hill. The third route is approximately 9km which twist and turn up the crest of the Magaliesberg mountain. All visitors to the park signs an indemnity form at the reception and if booked through an agent they should have a permit on arrival. .
