Delta Park offers 104 hectares of grassland and woodlands. There is also a sensory trail and bird-viewing hides, and the Florence Bloom Bird Sanctuary is incorporated into the park. Inside the park there is also the Delta Environmental Centre where courses are offered to adults and children. The park has a dam, wild-bird sanctuary, scout training grounds, seating, small concerts, corporate events and fun fairs. There is a conference venue and auditorium and can cater for over 150 people depending on the sitting arrangement.

Every Saturday starting from 08h00 there is a park run, which is a 5km run. All you need to do is register to participates, it is free and it start at the environmental centre. Delta Park is popular with joggers, dog walkers and, at weekends, bird watchers and picnicking families.
