“Matsieng is the small village of the Paramount Chief of Lesotho, 40 km S/E of Maseru. It means ‘the place of Letsie’ referring to Chief Letsie who lived there during the 19th century, and means ‘the locust’.( Letsie was born during a locust plague.)” - Chris Smit, 2024/11/29
