Burgersfort

Burgersfort is situated close to the border between Limpopo and Mpumalanga, within the Greater Tubatse Local Municipality. The town is within a mountainous region, with lush vegetation and rolling valleys. The town history dates back around 1876 and 1877 when a fort was built during the Second Boer War. The name of the town is from the former South African president TF Burgers. (May-16).
