Vergenoeg dates back to 1935 as a farm bought by Rev Archambaud who established a school, later converted to a church when the school became overcrowded. The church was inaugurated in 1956 under Reverend H. Klein. Today the church is one of the architectural tower and jewel and great for wedding reception.
