Enjo Nature Farm is a pet friendly guest farm situated approximately 65kms from Clanwilliam, in South Africa’s world-famous Cederberg Wilderness Region and within the Karoo Succulent Biome. Our accommodation consists of 5 secluded self-catering cottages, our Farmhouse Annex and 3 spacious campsites. All of which are pet friendly.

Our cottages and campsites are located along our seasonal river which runs from May to December. Each cottage offers complete privacy and unspoiled views of the Paardeberg mountains. Lazy Leopard house sleeps up to 6, while Enjo Cottage, Oak Cottage, and The Lonely Planet sleep up to 4. The Cabin and the Farmhouse Annex sleeps 2. All our cottages have their own braai area and are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots, pans as well as linen and towels.

Our spacious campsites run along our seasonal river and are nicely sheltered by large trees offering lots of shade. Each site has its own electrical and water connections. The sites are also perfect for larger families, groups and those wanting to camp together while still enjoying their own space. All our campsites have their own braai area and share communal ablutions and kitchen sink.

Our hiking trails and walks vary from easy to intermediate and range between 40 minutes to 4 hours long. You can hike the trails on the farm to the Enjo amphitheater, to our mountain spring, and along our bush trail. If you have an off-road 4x4 vehicle you can take a challenging drive along our farm track to our mountain spring and enjoy breathtaking views. We also have three mountain biking routes for you to explore the valley and nearby village of Wupperthal. For those that prefer to take things slow, we have our farm swimming reservoir which is fed by mountain spring water, our nature dam, river walk along our seasonal river which runs from May – December, and our labyrinth for quiet reflection. Close by you will find the historic Wupperthal missionary village with its handmade shoe factory and rooibos tea shop as well as some additional hiking along with gorgeous rock pools. The Sevilla Rock Art trail offers historic cave paintings dating back a few thousand years as well as the Biedouw Valley 4x4 track along the old postal route. Enjo Nature Farm has been a sheep and goat farm for the past 200 years and has recently begun focusing all its energy and efforts into guest farming and conservation with some exciting projects that are in development and scheduled for implementation over the next decade. From our family to yours, we hope you enjoy your time at Enjo, unplug from the world, reconnect with yourself and each other, sleep late, watch the stars, and find yourself happy!
