“The Bushmans River, a tributary of the Tugela River, has its source on the escarpment behind the 3314m high Giant’s Castle in Natal. It flows north-east past Estcourt to enter the Tugela 10 km north-east of Weenen. It was named after the San or Bushmen, who lived in the vicinity in earlier days.” - Chris Smit, 2024/08/21
