Kloofendal Nature Reserve is situated in Roodepoort suburb of Kloofendal. It is a cultural heritage and ecotourism and one of the oldest reserve in Gauteng. The reserve have some evidence of gold mining and there is the old 1884 Confidence Gold Mine, now a national monument. This can be visited by appointment. Various events are also held in the reserves which are prebooked. The reserve is managed by Friends of Kloofendal (FroK) who can be contacted for bookings and enquiries. (Nov-15).

Directions

Take Christiaan de Wet Road from either the north, or Florida in the south. Turn on to Wilgerood Road, left on to Topaz Road and right on to Galena Avenue.

Rates and Payment
Fee/s :  Entry into the reserve is for free. Events Cost: ZAR60 for adults, ZAR50 for pensioners and ZAR40 for children. (Nov-15).
