“Cathkin Peak (3182m) is one of the most dominant peaks in the Drakensberg Range. It was named after Cathkin Braes, a hill near Glasgow, by David Gray, a Scot who settled in Natal in 1849. Its Zulu name is Mdedelele (make room for him) because of its overpowering presence in the range.” -
