The Lawrence de Lange Nature Reserve in the Stormberg Region is situated on the slopes of the Madeira Mountains, and along with the Longhill Nature Reserve was proclaimed in 1982 and together take up 1 368ha. Under maintenance by the Queenstown Municipality, the reserves offer game viewing and walking trails.
