Krocovango Crocodile Farm is a huge crocodile haven with over 10 000 Nile crocodiles at any given time, between 4000-5000 crocodiles eggs are bred each year.
The crocodile farm is located approximately 10km from Shakawe with a lot of crocodiles, some are slaughtered for meat and their skin.
The farm is still uncorrupted and situated close to the Okavango river. Research projects are conducted at this farm by various research institutions.
Besides watching crocodiles the guests can also enjoy a visit to the curio shop, local boutique with bags, materials made from crocodile skin, exciting bird watching, fishing in the Okavango river and relaxing at the picnic sites.
Feeding times are Saturdays and Tuesdays at 11:00. (2009).
