Hauchabfontein Camping is strategically located between Sossusvlei and the Naukluft. There are nine campsites available. The Ebony Campsite is the largest site situated under tall Acacia trees, but most sites offer ample shade under acacia trees as well. Pets are allowed at the campsite. Facilities include communal ablutions, donkey boiler water, candle-lit pathways at night, and braai areas, although you will need to bring your own braai grid. All camping sites are situated along the Tsauchab River.

One of the special attractions at Hauchabfontein Camping is the rock pools, which provide year-round water for swimming. Additionally, the campsite boasts a private quiver tree forest with over 2000 trees, surrounded by stunning landscapes.
