Rooiheuwel Karoo Guest Farm in South Africa is situated in the escarpment of the Nuweveld Mountains in the Great Karoo. It is about 80km west from Beaufort West and 60km north of Leeu-Gamka. The farm has 2 fully equipped farmhouses and a cottage, a farm shed and in the veld a stone shepherd's house ('kliphuisie'). They also offer camping under thorn trees with ablution facilities (electrified), donkey-geyser, flush toilets, showers, washbasins and a camping kitchen, power points and water. The scenery is spectacular and will provide a authentic Karoo experience. Activities available are hiking trails, bird watching, 4×4 trails, dual purpose motor bikers, mountain biking, bring your own horse trail. They cater for birdwatchers, 4×4 touring groups, dual purpose motor bikers, mountain bikers, horsemen bring own horse, conference groups, environmental education groups, campers and weekenders.
