Mwandi is a small town situated between Livingstone and Sesheke. The town infrastructure is still under developed in this village though fishing and true authentic African culture are still intact. The village is situated in the Western province of Zambia and has a population of approx 7000 inhabitants. The village is situated on the banks of the Zambezi river. The inhabitants depend on farming and fishing as a means of life. The Lozi people make the majority of the population in Mwandi who speak the native language 'siLozi.' who also have their own set of tradition and cultural beliefs.
