Situated on the R343 between Grahamstown and Kenton-On-Sea, Rock Bottom Cottage is situated beneath the Glenfield Cliff and is one of the Assegaai Trails hiking camps suitable for overnight accommodation. The cottages consist of timber decks under trees, with open air design. Caters for up to 20 persons, the cottage have bunk beds, mattresses, pillows, drinking water, clean ablution blocks with shared flush toilets and hot showers and BBQ areas However the campers need to bring own bedding and towels. For the transportation of kits to the Rock bottom camp and back it costs only R150 for groups. (Updated Mar-13).
