Situated in the HEART of the Battlefields in Northern KZN, Ingudlane Lodge offers a luxurious experience of the African Wild. Modern, exquisitely decorated private and secluded self-catering chalets lie nestled in the Reserve. Wake up with Wildlife on your doorstep.

The Chalets offer two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and an open plan living area. The Reserve is located on the farms Whinestone and Lennox and covers an area of 1900 hectares. Chalet One has a Jacuzzi and Two and Three have their own splash pools. An Electronic safe is provided in the bathroom cupboard for valuables, a Weber Braai is provided for braai. There is also DSTV and undercover Parking.

Relax and enjoy a meal at our Restaurant overlooking panoramic views of the Reserve. Our A'la Carte menu offers a variety of superbly prepared dishes. Facilities are available to occupy the children whilst you enjoy a meal or refreshments at the bar. We also offer an early morning or late afternoon two hour Guided Game Drives. (Aug-16).

Directions

From Durban, take the N3 to Johannesburg and take the Ladysmith off ramp. Travel through Ladysmith and follow the N11 to Newcastle. Approximately 20km past Ladysmith, turn right towards Dundee on the R602. Follow through to Glencoe and then from Glencoe to Dundee. Travel through Dundee and follow the R33 in the direction to Vryheid, passing Talana Museum on the left. Ingudlane Lodge is 2km from Dundee, on the right hand side.

From Johannesburg take the N3 to Durban. Take the exit at Villiers onto the R103, which runs parallel to the highway. Travel approximately 30 minutes then turn left onto the R34 to Vrede, Memel and into Newcastle. Follow the N11 to Ladysmith and 30 km out of Newcastle turn left onto the R621 to Dannhauser/Dundee. AT Dannhauser turn left towards Dundee. Continue past Springlake Colliery and Tom Worthing Dam. At the T-Junction turn left towards Dundee. Travel through town and follow the R33 in the direction of the Vryheid, passing Talana Museum on the left. Ingudlane Lodge is 2km from Dundee on the right-hand side.

AREA INFO:
Ingudlane Lodge is on part of the Talana Battlefield (Anglo Boer War 1899-1902). Boer forces on top of Lennox Hill (part of the Reserve) fired into the advancing British troops at the base of Talana Hill, catching them in cross fire.

ATTRACTIONS:
Situated only 5km from Ingudlane is the Talana Museum, which is built on the site of the first battle of the Anglo Boer War. This magnificent Museum is a reminder of the past.
