The campsite is situated near the Kologha Forest, in the eastern end of the Amatola Mountains, near Stutterheim. These mountains are covered in indigenous forest and montane grassland. The park is within walking distance of the forest, its forest, horse, and mountain-bike trails, waterfalls and the Gubu Dam, popular for trout fishing. There are braai places, tables and benches, a lapa and safe parking. (June-15)
