Booking

Op-die-Plaas KAMP is a campsite at a dam with black bass. There is a lot of space on the grass or under the bluegum trees. No electricity, but warm water with gas geysers. The campsite tap water and ablution water is from the mountain. There is no electricity at the site, so campers should bring lamps and lights.

There is a swimming pool and a perfect venue (Sionsrus venue) to host: Group Camps (School Camps, Home School Camps, Church Camps, Woman Camps and Youth Camps), functions, parties, weddings, with all appliances and crockery and cutlery available at extra cost.

Directions

From Laingsburg: Turn right at the Ladismith/Anysberg sign (Standard Bank) Follow the road for +/-30km and continue on the gravel road for +/-35km. DO NOT TURN RIGHT towards Ladismith Drive until you see the Zandrivier board turn left. Pass Ben’s Cottage/Main House sign. Pass worker houses – it stays on your left. Keep straight, down the hill, to the farm house with green roof.

From Ladismith: Turn right and head for Calitzdorp After Zoar turn left at the Seweweekspoort sign Continue for 20km through the Poort When you reach the Y-junction, keep left for +/- 7km Drive until you see the Zandrivier board turn left. Pass Ben’s Cottage/Main House sign. Pass worker houses – it stays on your left. Keep straight, down the hill, to the farm house with green roof.

From Oudtshoorn: Head for Calitzdorp Drive through Calitzdorp towards Ladismith Drive through the Huis River Pass Pass the Opsoek sign and Amalienstein sign Turn right at the Seweweekspoort sign Continue for 20km through the Poort When you reach the Y-junction, keep left for +/- 7km Drive until you see the Zandrivier board turn left. Pass Ben’s Cottage/Main House sign. Pass worker houses – it stays on your left. Keep straight, down the hill, to the farm house with green roof.
