Swartvlei Lake is located in the Wilderness National Park and is one of the many lakes in the area in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. The lake however is the longest and deepest of them all. It offers a variety of bird species which is a huge attraction for avid bird watchers. The Swartvlei Lake is connected to the sea for six months of the year.
