Thaba Bosiu mountain (declared a national monument) is the most venerated site in Lesotho because of its significance in the history of the Basotho nation. The cultural village is aimed at presenting, promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of Basotho as well as influencing the present and future Basotho generation and international visitors to highly regard the culture of Basotho. The village includes 40 huts and other elements such as a kraal and traditional wall, museum, conference center, restaurant, amphitheater and accommodation chalets. Visitors will stay in standard and double chalets with beds, shower, fridge and cable TV. Guests will also enjoy delicious meals in the on site restaurant. There is also a museum and wedding venue.
