Our bedrooms are all en suite with a stunning metal double bedroom suite with a dressing table/desk. Cloud 9 mattresses ensure a good night's sleep. Ceiling fan, wall heater, fridge, TV with DSTV, tea/coffee facilities are in each room. The larger twin/triple rooms have the addition of a single bed.

From Durban take the N2 south exiting at the Port Shepstone North off ramp at the Umtentweni Toll Gate. Turn left towards the sea. +-4km turn right at the first set of traffic lights, carry on until the next set of traffic lights and turn right. Pass the Tweni Spar and Library on your left hand side. At the yield sign keep left down the hill into Norwood road. Mdoni House is 400m from here on the left hand side.
From Kokstad/Harding continue on the N2 following the Durban signs. Do not go on to the motorway but continue on over the motorway on what is now the R102.This road goes round the outskirts of Port Shepstone close to the sea, 2km after you have crossed the long Umzimkulu River bridge turn left at the first traffic lights into Abingdon Road. Pass the Tweni Spar and the Library on your left. At the yield sign fork left down the hill into Norwood Road. Mdoni House is 400m on the left hand side.

The cosmopolitan town of Port Shepstone, the largest town on the Lower South Coast is a mere 2km from our doorstep, and 2km in another direction will find you on the beautiful protected Umtentweni swimming beach. We are very close to all major routes. A number of excellent restaurants and many takeaway outlets are within a few minute's drive.
ATTRACTIONS:
Our sandy beaches are the major attraction on the Lower South Coast. Chose from very busy beaches with restaurants and entertainment through to deserted pristine beaches. Swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and surf. For the fisherman, there is a choice of deep-sea, surf, dam or river fishing. For the golfer, 10 top-class golf courses within a 50 km radius. For the nature lover, Oribi Gorge, Lake Eland Game Reserve, 2 Crocodile farms, Butterfly farm, Snake and Reptile Park, and many smaller nature reserves. For the adrenaline junkie, there's white water rafting, a bungee swing, suspension bridge over the gorge, a zip line down the gorge, deep-sea excursions, shark cage diving, etc. For quieter times follow a Southern Explorer trail - or just relax at Mdoni.
