Ceres Matroosberg Reserve offers self catering in comfortable houses which dates back to over a 100 years ago but have been recently renovated to provide modern comfort and luxury. The Goatherds house is situated right on the foot of the Matroosberg Reserve and can accommodate up to six persons. The bedrooms have clean linen, bedding and towels while the kitchen is fully equipped with all the cutlery, crockery, a gas fridge and hotplate. There is also an indoor braai, formerly a fireplace. However the guests also have a choice of camping, with campsites situated on the banks of a river, offering a cool breeze from the flowing river for the outdoor lovers.
