Bloupunt Hiking Trail is situated within Montagu Mountain Reserve which is also managed by the Langebaan Municipality advisory board. The trail is 15.6 km long and can be completed in 5 - 9 hrs. The trail rises over a 1000m from start at Joubertpark to summit. From a 1266m height beautiful panoramic views of towns such as Montagu, Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor and Robertson can easily be seen. The trail stretches along ravines, cliffs, rock formations, waterfalls on the route down from the summit there are two freshwater points where hikers will need to fill up their bottles before embarking onto the summit as there is no water at the top.
