“Schuckmannsburg is a small settlement in the eastern portion of the Caprivi Strip, 35 km east-south-east of Katima Mulilo. It was founded in 1909 as a military encampment and named after Bruno von Schuckmann, who was Governor of South-West Africa from 1907 to 1910.” - Chris Smit, 2025/01/16
