Hadeda Camp - Old Lapa is the base camp situated on the banks of the Hennops River. It is the base camp for the Hennops Hiking Trails. There are many swimming holes in the vicinity. These basic hikers accommodation is also the start/end for the Hennops hiking trail. The original stone farmhouse and rondavel make up Hadeda camp. The two rooms in the farmhouse can accommodate 12 guests and rondavels for 6 people. Guests will sleep on bunk beds with mattress. Guests will have access to clean ablution blocks with hot showers and clean toilets. There is a communal kitchen have electricity, a fridge, stove and cutlery and crockery. Campers need to bring own drinking water as the available river water is not safe for drinking. The base camp is ideal for day hikers, overnight hikers. No smoking in the units.
