Nestled in the Skurweberg Mountains in the Valley of the Hennops River, this little gem is probably definitely does give you a sense of peace and a feeling of being removed from the cities. The opening of 'Tom's Backpackers' was on the 5 May 2010.
Come meet some new faces. The goal is to create a cool, fun, friendly, self catering environment that strive to bring you a balance between value and quality. Play and listen to your own music as vast array of local attractions.
We also have IT facilities like uncapped internet and WIFI. Braai Facilities, fully equipped kitchen and bar, and laundry facilities available. Television facilities and Internet café with streaming music.

ACCESS & TRANSPORT:
The backpackers can be reached by car, fly-in, taxi our touring bus. The nearest airports are the Lanseria airport in Lanseria, about 25 minutes away, or the Oliver Tambo International airport, in Johannesburg, about 60 minutes away. There are no shuttle services, but there are car rental services at the airport.
The road is tarred.

Prebooking is not essential but preferred.

The backpackers have a car ramp if you need to attend to your transport free of charge.
