Located in Namibia :: Four Nations
Category: Lodging :: Tented Camp

Booking

Tented lodge with camping facilities.

The lodge overlooks Chobe National Park on the Botswana side and it is the only lodge and campsite that you can drive to on the Namibian side. Game viewing from a boat is exceptional and you do not see many other 2 boats on the Chobe river, which was much better than the crowded river area at Kasane, where dozens of boats and houseboats frequent the channel.

This is an eco-lodge with use of solar geyser and solar lights in tented chalets and generator for power in main building during certain hours of the day. Every chalet is solar-powered with en-suite bathrooms and shower/flush toilets.

Reservations mandatory.

Campsite has electricity and geysers.

“We visited in May 2021. The lodge is stunning and the boat trip on the Chobe River excellent. Free wifi is available at the main area.” - Mietsie Visser, 2021/05/28

“The Gondwana Group of lodges took over this camp and are doing a great job. The main area was revamped and a huge pool replaces the tiny former one. A great choice on the Chobe River away from the touristy Kasane. ” - Mietsie Visser, 2019/08/21

“We were very impressed with this eco-camp.In May this year (2016) the Chobe's water had risen right up to the lodge. The lodge overlooks Chobe National Park on the Botswana side.It is the only lodge and campsite that you can drive to on the Namibian side. The game viewing from the boat was exceptional and we saw plenty. We highly recommend this lodge and campsite.” - Mietsie Visser, 2016/05/18
