This bridge is 53 metres long, built from Mopane tree logs, can carry up to 5 tons. A large vehicle like a land cruiser with a caravan will manage to cross this bridge. The river under the bridge is about 2 metres deep. You are advised to engage '4X4 high' to ensure better traction and keep momentum in 2nd gear while crossing this bridge! (Oct-13).

Turn off from the B 8 main route between Katima Mulilo and Rundu at Kongola Service Station onto the C 49 gravel road (currently under construction) drive approximately 28 km south then turn right at Malyo sign board.
