The Kungoni Centre displays the cultures of the Chewa, Ngoni and Yao people of Malawi while the Chamare museum hosts an extraordinary display of Gule Wamkulu masks, used in die moral teaching of the Chewa, as well as a fine collection of Ngoni and Yao cultural artifacts. The Kungoni Dance Troupe performs traditional rituals while contemporary art work is for sale at the gallery. The artists produce their work in the gardens of the Kungoni Centre, and visitors are welcome to watch them work.
