Geelkrans Campsite in Patensie is situated on the enclave of the Enon Conglomerate cliff and is an ideal base for exploring the Baviaans Wilderness area. There are 14 shaded campsites, lawned campsites with a big round fire pit and rubbish bins. There are tiled ablution with warm water and flush toilets. There are rain tanks with drinking water, a small kitchen and wash area. There is no electricity but there is cellphone reception. Wood for braai is available at the office. Use of quads are not allowed at the campsite. (Mar-2018).
