Bawa Falls is situated within the Transkei region of Eastern Cape. This is a horsetail waterfall with a single fall of 103 meters and an average width of 2 meters. It is a natural heritage of the Mnquma Local Municipality. It is reported that there used to be an execution stone at the falls used by the king. The fall is situated on the western tributary of the Guwa river beside the village of KwaNdotshanga. For more information visitors can contact the Mnquma Local Municipality.
