Vamos Township tour operator specialises in creating township experiences that are uplifting, inspirational and eco-friendly. Vamos means ' Let's Go' in English. The tours will explore the daily lives, culture and activities of the Xhosa people in the Langa township of Cape town. A tour of older migrant labour hostels, shacks and shanties, and the middle class area known as 'Beverley Hills', which have beautiful gardens hence was given that name. The tours are all about walking, talking, discussing, exploring and exchanging stories.

The tours are arranged according to individual or group needs. There are half day township tours with exploration of the streets and daily lives of the people. Children playing soccer, trades and show off new clothes. Stop for a Braai at famous Mzoli or enjoy a home hosted lunch.

There is also Full Day Footsteps Township Combination Tour and private tours tailor made according to your interests.

Enjoy cycling and walking tours through sharks, art and craft centres, shebeen, school and crèches among other places to visit.

Touring is done in a luxury air-conditioned touring minivans have a maximum capacity of 8 persons and they need a minimum of 2 persons for a tour to take place.
