Weenen museum is housed in a very old building (1840 -1848), it is a two-roomed museum housing a collection of local historical interest and includes costumes and relics from the Voortrekker period. Also erected is a watermill, which is a replica of a mill on the historic farm Grootte Mielietuin. .
