A bustling holiday resort in summer and the ideal retreat in winter, Mossel Bay is situated on a spectacular sun washed peninsula embraced by the warm Indian Ocean. It is also called the "Karoo-by-the-Sea town", and features in the Guinness Book of Records as having the mildest all-year climate in the world, second only to Hawaii. Its fascinating history grants the town its status as the historical capital of the Garden Route and one of the most significant towns in South Africa.

ATTRACTIONS:
Mossel Bay also has a unique beach with a natural play area for young and old. In addition, canoeing on the Breede River will leave you with wonderful memories of a thrilling experience. Dolphins are frequently spotted frolicking off the point, as are Southern Right Whales during the mating and calving season from June through to November. Mossel Bay is surrounded by a number of popular destinations (George, Knysna, Oudtshoorn) where there is plenty to do and see.
