Tshikwalo Game Lodge is situated within the malaria-free Dinokeng Game Reserve, the first free-roaming Big-5 game reserve in Gauteng and offers an amazing African bush experience for local and international visitors. The name of the lodge has its origin in the Monkey thorn tree or Tshikwalo as it is known in Venda. This beautiful specimen tree is known to provide dappled shade, a very true reflection of what you will experience at Tshikwalo Game Lodge. Tshikwalo Game Lodge is a mere 30 minutes’ drive north of Pretoria and a 60 minutes’ drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport and Johannesburg. Tshikwalo, offering self-catering accommodation and a function venue, has an experienced and capable team, to ensure that you have a memorable visit, returning again and again to enjoy the pleasant and tranquil African bush experience. ACCESS:
You can fly-in to Mongena at Wonderboom. There is no shuttle service available. But a taxi service like "Uber" can be contacted.
Access is mainly by tar road, with 1km of gravel road.
