Mthunzi River Camp is a camping site located within the Phophonyane Conservancy, 10 km north of the town of Piggs Peak, Northern Swaziland. Campers can erect their tents under shade adjoining the Phophonyane River. The Camp has a shower (Hot water), flushing toilets, a viewing deck, a fridge, fire making and braai facilities, and even WiFi (optional) for those who really cannot live without connectivity. Campers have the option to self drive around the conservancy (4×4 vehicles) to view a variety of game, and visit the Gunwane viewing and sundowner deck; or hike a variety of short trails. The Camp is 60kms from the Kruger Park and 50kms from the Malolotja Game Reserve. It is an ideal stopover for those passing through Swaziland to and from the Parks.
