These luxurious self-catering homes are fully furnished and equipped and include limited daily cleaning services. Additionally, through prior arrangement, guests can request a selection of groceries or fine wines to be pre-stocked in homes; or have breakfast and dinner catering services provided. Transportation to and from events can also be arranged. Guests will relish this ultimate "luxury-meets-nature" experience when they holiday in these exclusive homes.

Both Selborne Park Golf Estate as well as iMbabala Forest Estate are enclosed by high electric fences and for additional peace of mind have 24 hour security.

Each house is individually decorated and appointed to the highest standard. Bedrooms are decorated in crisp linen with highlights of colour, have built-in cupboards and often lead out onto a balcony which overlooks the golf course. Bathrooms are appointed with top quality finishes.

The homes are beautifully furnished. The lounges have sofas and TV's with DSTV bouquet and are usually open plan to the dining area with comfortable dining room table. Homes have private verandahs with outdoor furniture and a built-in braai / barbeque. Refer to individual descriptions of each home for details on the pool area. Kitchens are fully equipped with modern appliances - including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, microwave, stove / oven etc. - making everyday catering a pleasure while vacationing.(Jun-16).

These magnificent holiday homes are situated in Pennington on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, just 100 km / 60 minutes drive South along the N2 freeway from King Shaka International Airport, Durban. Some of the holiday homes are situated within Selborne Park Golf Estate and others are located in iMbabala Forest Estate which borders the world-renowned Selborne Golf Course. Sheehan Cottage is situated within the town of Pennington itself.

Travelling to Pennington from King Shaka International Airport:
Head southwest (700 m) and take the first left onto Mdloti Street (2.3 km). Keep right at the fork and merge onto the N2 (102 km). Take Exit 93 onto the R102 towards Esperanza / Sezela (350 m). Turn left onto the R102 - Selborne Park Golf Estate will be on your left (3.1 km).

Travelling to iMbabala Forest Estate from King Shaka International Airport:
Head southwest (700 m) and take the first left onto Mdloti Street (2.3 km). Keep right at the fork and merge onto the N2 (90.6 km). Take Exit 104 for the R612 towards Umzinto / R102 / Pennington (300 m). Turn left onto the R612 (1.2 km). Take the first right onto the R102 - iMbabala Forest Estate will be on your right (9.2 km).

Travelling to Sheehan's Cottage : From the Sezela offramp proceeds for approximately 3.5 km. At the Pennington sign turn right. Then turn first right again into Edward Crescent. 100m on the left-hand side is Sheehan's Cottage.

The first 9 of these stunning homes are situated within Selborne Park Golf Estate which was established in 1985 as South Africa's first golf estate. The golf course has matured into one of South Africa's most eyecatching courses and has been described as the Augusta of South Africa. Set around the natural rocks and contours of the fertile indigenous coastal forest, Selborne offers unparalleled natural beauty and tranquillity.

Approximately 42% of iMbabala Forest Estate has been designated as a private conservation area. A wide variety of habitats hosts an equally varied bird and animal life including vervet monkeys, blue duiker and bushbuck after which the Estate is named. This beautiful Estate borders two of the KZN South Coast's major golf courses, Umdoni Golf Course and Selborne Golf Course. The area has an additional 19 golf courses within a radius of an hour's drive.

Just 100 kilometers (60 minutes drive) south along the N2 Freeway from King Shaka International Airport, Durban; Pennington has an enviable warm subtropical climate. Long stretches of uninterrupted white beaches are glorious for long walks, swimming and fishing. During the winter months hundreds of dolphins and many whales can be seen along this coastline. The small coastal town of Pennington has a variety of small shops catering for all daily necessities. Pennington also has several lovely restaurants including Selborne Hotel Restaurant, Ironwood Lodge & Yellowwood Nursery. A few minutes drive back up the coast is Scottburgh which caters for all your necessity and novelty shopping requirements, and of course Durban is home to several major shopping centres, including Gateway - one of the biggest retail outlets in Africa.

ATTRACTIONS:
For the adventurous, the nearby neighbouring town of Umkomaas is the primary launch site to experience the amazing underwater world of Aliwal Shoal, internationally recognised as one of the world's top ten dive sites. Aliwal Shoal offers a variety of diving experiences, from beginner diver's tours of the Shoal, to advanced Shipwreck Dives.

Oribi Gorge, a short hour's drive away, offers a variety of activities from casual walks with amazing views, to white river rafting, or the Gorge Swing for the more adventurous. Long stretches of golden sandy beaches are fantastic for whiling your time away in the sunshine. Scottburgh Beach has an array of activities for the whole family, including a SuperTube Slide, putt-putt golf & a safe lagoon. Lifeguards are on duty daily to ensure safety.
