Sesfontein Guesthouse is situated right at the heart of the village of Sesfontein, about 110 km north of Palmwag. Staying at Sesfontein Guesthouse is a very rural experience with donkey carts a common sight and being woken up by crowing chicken well before dawn.

Sesfontein Guesthouse offers 10 rooms each furnished with 1 double bed with the possibility of adding 1 extra single bed. All rooms come complete with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, and mosquito nets. Our restaurant serves lunch and dinner. We pride ourselves in using mostly local ingredients – from bananas to pumpkins, tomatoes, salads, onions, carrots, and more. We bake our own bread and serve the best banana bread north of Windhoek.

The Hoanib elephant drive now includes a Himba village visit. We also run the stunning Ongongo Waterfall campsite at Warmquelle some 25km further South. Come visit this magical place while you stay at Sesfontein Guesthouse.

Directions

From Swakopmund: Exit Swakopmund via C34 to Hentiesbay. Pass through Hentiesbay and continue on C34 until you get to Torra Bay. At Torra Bay, turn right onto C39. Follow the road until you get to C43. Turn left onto C43 to Palmwag. Continue to follow the C43 due north via Warmquelle towards Sesfontein. Continue straight onto D3707. Destination will be on the left.

From Otjiwarongo: Exit Otjiwarongo via B1/C38 to Outjo. Approx. 10km past Outjo, turn left onto C40. Travel along the C40 via Kamanjab to Palmwag. Continue on follow C43 due north via Warmquelle towards Sesfontein. Continue straight onto D3707. Destination will be on the left.
