Simanya is the most upscale lodge in the Kavango West region. Apart from our spacious rooms, all guests are rewarded with unobstructed river views. Simanya is the nearest river lodge to the Capital, Windhoek, situated only 650 km away, by making use of the fully tarred B15, “Timber Route”.

All guests and visitors are welcome to make use of our restaurant that offers exquisite river views, or to have a drink and snacks at our Pub.

Our main setting includes an infinity pool that overlooks the Kavango river, together with a deck and boma.

Simanya offers 12 spacious Luxury rooms. All rooms come with a private balcony that allows stunning views of the Kavango River and Angola beyond.

Added to this are 4 Family rooms, with interleading doors. Family rooms are larger but otherwise similar to our luxury rooms.

The Kraal, is aimed at our distinctive traveler, that values privacy and can afford individual attention. Our guests at The Kraal are treated to an exclusive pool area, private terrace overlooking the Kavango River, together with a personalized service offering.

Basecamp offers 10 shaded and grassed campsites on the river’s edge. All campsites come with a private ablution facility that includes a shower, toilet and washbasin, also a essentials supply store. Added to this is a private “braai area”, that includes a sink with hot water for washing up.
