Established on a 300 hectare farm on the source of a mountain stream with spectacular views, Mountain Fly Fishing offers you an ideal opportunity of getting away from the stress of everyday life and unwinding in a relaxed and beautiful environment

Four beautifully appointed and fully equipped self-catering cottages, overlooking the majestic trout waters, offer comfortable and secluded Magoebaskloof accommodation. All rooms have separate shower, open-plan lounge, bedroom and kitchen, separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, braai area, fireplace, TV and satellite dish with easy view only. Please note that guests must please bring their own decoder and sim card.

Our establishment offers guests five fully stocked trout fly fishing dams on our privately owned property. Our Magoebaskloof accommodation is neat and cozy, overlooking the serene trout waters. (Jun-18).

Directions

From Gauteng to Mountain Fly Fishing Cottages:
Take the R71 road from Polokwane to Tzaneen. After about 60km turn left at the second Veekraal turn at the top of mountain you will also see our MFF board. Our roads are marked with the alphabet. Veekraal is the K road, drive for 5km turn left into Houtbosdorp N road 3km turn right at MFF N4 go through gate over cattle grid, drive down farm road where road splits keep left N4.2. Drive past gate and about 200m ahead of you you will see the Kingfisher board on your right the the three log cabins are near each other Kingfisher, Pygmy and Fish Eagle.

The Loggers Cabin is the first left turn after the Kingfisher board follow the road it will take you to the cottage. There is no reception area you can proceed directly to your cottage.
