Middelberg CAMPGROUND is situated on the R318,35km from De Doorns and 60 Km from Montagu in the Western Cape. The beautiful private campsite is situated under a copse of poplar trees and has 6 sites. The campsite is only accessible with a 4x4 vehicle, but no experience is necessary.

Facilities also include 2 toilets and two showers fitted with hot water coming from a wood-fired donkey. There are drinking water taps on each site. During the hot summer, campers can enjoy a swim in the dam nearby. No electricity, cell phone reception or freezing facilities. The campsite will only be booked out for one group at a time. Plenty of mountain roads for cycling or hiking.

Directions

From De Doorns, follow the N1 north for 20km. Turn right on the R318 towards Montagu. Then turn right at the Middelberg sign (Small White) and follow the dirt road for 3.5KM.
