Outeniqua Mountain Lodge offering four shaded campsites with ablution facilities. It also has four self-catering log cabins semi equipped with a kitchen, fireplace and en suite bathrooms. Guests are assured of an adventurous journey as they engage in fishing, hiking, river beach volleyball, river swimming, game drives, and mountain biking. They also offer a tented camp.

Directions

When travelling from Oudtshoorn/George you travel on the N9 towards Uniondale. About 60km after the Oudtshoorn turn you will pass 'The Palm Café' this is the last petrol stop. Another 6km later the road makes a long turn to the left and you pass a biscuit coloured house on the right. Slow down, look out for the road sign warning you that a right turn is up ahead. Turn right on the De Vlugt, Jonksrus road. Travel on this well kept gravel road for ±20km. At the T-Junction right towards Knysna. You are now on the Prince Alfred's Pass. Continue for about 600m and look out for our signs turning to the left. When travelling from Port Elizabeth on the N2 towards Plettenberg Bay. Turn off at the Kareedouw/Langkloof sign onto the R62. Continue for ±120km past Joubertina/Misgund onto Avontuur. Turn left towards Avontuur, pass the little village and continue towards Knysna/Plettenberg Bay. Continue on this gravel road till you get to the valley of De Vlugt. You will pass a telephone booth and a small tea garden. Look out for our signs and turn down to your left towards our farm. When travelling from Knysna you travel on the R339. Travel out of Knysna towards Plettenberg Bay. On top of the hill opposite the turn to Noetsie turn left into the informal settlement, Avontuur/Uniondale. The tar road becomes a gravel road. You are now on the Prince Alfred Pass. Keep on this road till you see our farm on our right down in the valley. Look out for our sign boards turning down to the right. When travelling from Plettenberg Bay you travel on the R340. Travel out of Plettenberg Bay towards Port Elizabeth. Just over the Bitou bridge turn left towards Wittedrif/Avontuur/Uniondale. The tar road will eventually become a grave road. Continue till you get to a T-Junction, turn right towards Avontuur/Uniondale. After the T-Junction it is another ±23km to the farm. You are now on the Prince Alfred Pass. Keep on this road till you see our farm on our right down in the valley. Look out for our sign boards turning to the right.
